Darchula Power Ltd. is currently developing 28.3 MegaWatt, Madhya Chameliya Hydroelectric Project a run off river type project in Chameliya river, a major tributary of Mahakali river located at Marma Rural Municipality, Darchula district of Sudhur Paschim Province in the Far Western region of Nepal. The major promoter/investor behind this company is Api Power Company Limited, a leading company in Nepal’s Power Sector with Power Generation and Supply to National Grid as its core business. The total project cost is estimated to be 2,349,700,000 with cost per MW being 49,500,000.

Upper Tamor Hydropower Project (UTHPP) is a Peaking Run-of-River (PRoR) project with an installed capacity of 255.28 MW. It is located in Phaktanglung Rural Municipality and Phungling Municipality (formerly Tapethok VDC and Linkhim VDC) in Taplejung District, Koshi Province, Nepal. The project is being developed by Tamor Energy Pvt. Ltd.
